AME-3D, a UK-based product development company, has expanded its additive manufacturing offering with the introduction of Windform composite materials by CRP Technology, enabling UK customers to easily access high-performance 3D printed parts for demanding applications.

Recognized for their exceptional mechanical strength, thermal stability, and low weight, Windform composites are engineered for designers and engineers who require production-ready parts capable of performing under real-world operating conditions. The Windform material range offers a variety of advanced properties depending on the selected grade, including carbon fibre- or glass fibre-reinforced formulations, electrically insulating or mildly conductive behavior, UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, compliance with NASA and ESA outgassing requirements, and FAR 25.853 flammability certification.

“Our goal has always been to make advanced manufacturing accessible to UK designers and engineers. The addition of Windform composites means we can now support projects where strength, lightweight performance, and environmental resistance are critical. It’s a great step forward for our customers who need functional parts that perform beyond traditional polymers,” said Jamie Corden, Sales and Marketing Director at AME-3D.
