Paris Air Show

The International Paris Air Show 2025 is a landmark global aviation and aerospace event. The 55th edition will take place from June 16 to 22 at Paris-Le Bourget and bring together over 2,400 exhibitors from 48 countries.

Key highlights include the fourth edition of the Paris Air Lab, the launch of the Paris Space Hub, and the return of Start Me Up—a showcase for next-generation startups. The show also strongly emphasizes social responsibility, with initiatives focused on accessibility, green logistics, and circular economy practices. These actions reflect the organizers’ ongoing efforts to ensure environmental sustainability and widespread societal inclusion.

Beyond its role as a business and technology hub, the International Paris Air Show 2025 functions as a powerful socio-economic engine. The previous edition generates over €173 million in national economic benefits and supports more than 1,000 full-time jobs, notably impacting the Île-de-France region. In 2024, France’s aerospace industry reports €77.7 billion in revenue, with 82% of output destined for export. This year’s show builds on those achievements by promoting job creation, with more than 25,000 recruitments already planned, and by leading major outreach programs such as the Careers Plane and the Women in Aerospace initiative. These efforts not only spotlight the industry’s diverse professional landscape but also reinforce its commitment to a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable future.

The aerospace industry has long adopted additive manufacturing for final part production. Its low-volume nature and the need for lighter parts through complex geometries and optimized subassemblies make AM an ideal solution. While full-scale adoption is still limited by challenges in qualifying materials, processes, and parts, hundreds of thousands of 3D printed components are already flying on civil and military aircraft.
