The order is valued at approximately SEK 2.7 million ($282,000), with delivery scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.
The customer will use the machine to accelerate applied research and development efforts, particularly in prototyping and the advancement of metal alloys. The open architecture of the Freemelt ONE allows for extensive process customization, fostering innovation and flexibility.
Freemelt has several Freemelt ONE machines in operation at German universities and research institutes. This marks the first machine ordered by a German industrial user.
