3D printed footwear manufacturer Zellerfeld continues to expand its partnerships with notable celebrities and brands with the launch of its latest sneaker model. The shoe, a post-workout recovery sneaker called OD Easy PZ, was developed by OverDose, a new brand founded by former NBA point guard Baron Davis in collaboration with Sean O’Shea and Geoff Deas.

The shoe itself takes advantage of Zellerfeld’s extrusion-based 3D printing capability, with its monolithic structure, futuristic laceless design, various textures, and lightweight, ergonomic construction. Moreover, the OD Easy PZ are made to order: customers simply choose the colorway they want (marshmallow, lemon, black, grape, oat), scan their feet on their smartphone, and then order the shoes. The shoes are now available to order and retail for $199.

For those unfamiliar with Zellerfeld, its shoes are constructed using its zellerFOAM material, a 100% recyclable TPU that is washable and odor resistant, and the company’s own 3D printing hardware. Presently, the company operates two 3D printing factories: one in Hamburg, Germany and a new facility in Austin, Texas, which serves as its North American production hub. The footwear manufacturer works with designers from all over the world to bring 3D printed shoes to people’s feet. Among its more notable collaborations is a recent launch with Justin Bieber, a selection of Nike sneakers, and a 3D printed Havaianas flip flop.

For Baron Davis’ brand OverDose, the launch of OD Easy PZ is only part of the mission. According to a Linkedin post by Davis’ partner Sean O’Shea, the brand is also rolling out an initiative called ODD LABS, which he describes as “a creator-first innovation platform built to help athletes, entertainers, influencers, and brands enter the footwear space in a completely new way, while also helping established brands move faster by breaking through the slow corporate systems that often limit innovation and new ideas.”
