You Know the Companies, Need a Directory of 3D Printers? Go to Aniwaa.com

Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

The 3D Printing Business Directory was created in order to give companies a map and their own window on the global 3D printing marketplace. At the same time we are happy to collaborate with other companies who specifically focus on areas that are entirely compatible and complementary with our own, for example Aniwaa.com for a directory of 3D printers and 3D scanners.

When I first e-met Martin Lansard and Pierre-Antoine Arrighi, the two co-founders of Aniwaa.com, I congratulated them for having created the website I would have liked to create. A huge database and potential marketplace for every single 3D printer (and 3D scanner) on the market. Since then they have gone a lot further, building an extremely efficient and accurate comparison platform that also works as source of industry data and opinions (which I am proud and happy to contribute to personally).

Do what you do best: Aniwaa does 3D printers

I have come to believe that, although we should all have basic donations as varied as possibile, in order to do things well, everyone should specialize in what they like to do most and work together with professionals whose area of expertise is compatible and synergic.

So a content person should take care of creating content, a photographer of photography, a developer of software, a graphical expert of graphics and so on. In 3D printing this is even more evident as you need to work 3D modeling, materials and physical production into the equation.

A Global Directory of 3D Printers and data

Aniwaa can extrapolate interesting data on the global 3D printer market.

Aniwaa takes care of this part of the equation and does an amazing job at it. Ever since I first ran into the website quite accidentally (I was looking for information on a 3D scanner) it has become an invaluable resource for finding out in real time all information on single or categories of 3D printers. You can get an immediate idea of the pricing, the main features, the technology and, of course, the look of every 3D printer.

In a world that is made up of several hundreds of different 3D printers (and 3D scanners) with a few dozen different technologies and technological spinoffs, there needs to be a place where you can go and immediately visualize how one system differs from the other. With well over 1,000 listed products (990 3D printers) Aniwaa does this better than anyone else. You can view any product from $500 to over $1 million and, if you need to buy it, you can even order it. In a global industry, you need a global marketplace. Aniwaa.com is that place.
