# Xenia brings LSAM-grade thermoplastic composites to FIP 2026

[Xenia Materials](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/xenia-materials/) is exhibiting at France Innovation Plasturgie (FIP) in Lyon from June 2 to 5, showcasing a range of carbon and glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic compounds designed for large-scale additive manufacturing (LSAM) tooling applications. The company can be found at Hall 6.2, Booth C36.

The materials are pellet-based and designed for LSAM technologies, with applications in the production of molds, jigs, lamination masters, and thermoforming tooling. Built on high-performance thermoplastic matrices, they combine a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) with high stiffness, offering dimensional accuracy across a wide operating temperature range, from room temperature to 260°C.

## Tooling performance at scale

Controlled thermal expansion and elevated thermal resistance are the defining characteristics of the range. Xenia says the materials keep large-format parts geometrically stable, which reduces thermal deformation during production and supports lightweight design—both important for aerospace and automotive tooling workflows.

The company claims material savings of up to 50% compared to conventional tooling approaches, along with reduced process time and lower transport weight. The compounds are recyclable, in line with the broader push in composites manufacturing toward more circular material use.

Target sectors include aerospace, automotive, energy and construction—industries where large-format tooling demands both dimensional precision and thermal durability. Xenia offers the LSAM range to help manufacturers reduce lead times and improve design flexibility for complex tooling geometries while maintaining structural performance.
