Vertico unveils Solo Robot standalone 3D concrete printing solution
Vertico has introduced the Solo Robot, an advanced standalone 3D concrete printing system designed to enhance construction efficiency and flexibility. This latest solution from the Dutch company caters to various applications, from large-scale prefabrication to experimental architectural designs.
Jardineras Meraki, a company specializing in concrete-molded urban designs, introduced 3D concrete printing into their projects too explore new levels of design freedom and efficiency, turning bold ideas into tangible results.
Vertico engineered the Solo Robot to accommodate diverse project needs. It seamlessly integrates with both Standard and Accelerator Printheads, ensuring compatibility with different printing materials and construction methods. This machine promises adaptability for large infrastructure projects or small-scale design explorations.
With a 3.2-meter reach on a 50-centimeter pedestal, the Solo Robot provides a 270-degree printing range around its base. The elevated pedestal extends printing height and improves accessibility, making operations more efficient and secure.
Safety remains a top priority in the Solo Robot’s design. The increased printing height enhances the operator’s field of vision, minimizing collision risks. Additionally, optional safety measures such as protective fences, light curtains, or radars can be integrated to create a secure working environment.
This innovative system is designed with user-friendliness in mind. Its built-in slicing software eliminates the need for additional licensing fees, making it accessible to students, educators, and professionals alike. The intuitive HMI monitor and integrated slicer software simplify operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
