USPTO issues 40th patent to PostProcess Technologies

PostProcess Technologies, a pioneer of automated post-processing solutions for additive manufacturing, has been issued its 40th patent. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued PostProcess US Pat. No. 11,890,817 entitled ‘System And Method Of Manufacturing An Additively Manufactured Object’ for their CONNECT3D software platform.

The innovative combination of software, hardware, and chemistry is the cornerstone of the company’s automated offerings. “We are immensely proud to reach this milestone of 40 patents,” said Frank Kozak, General Counsel for PostProcess Technologies. “This achievement underscores our relentless pursuit of innovation and our dedication to delivering game-changing solutions to our customers. With each patent, we further advance our position as the leader in automated post-processing technology.”

PostProcess Technologies’ solutions solve major customer pain points in post-processing, including support removal, surface finishing, powder removal, and resin removal. By automating these labor-intensive and time-consuming tasks, manufacturers can significantly improve efficiency, consistency, quality, and safety in their AM operations.
