Twist 3D Printing service by Slant3D offers any part you want for $29
You can also have any color you want, as long as it's black

Idaho-based Slant 3D released Twist 3D Printing, a quick-turn 3D printing prototyping service. The offer stands out from other online offers as there is no quoting and there are no estimates. There also is no price checking. It is a flat-rate print service: If it (the part) fits, it (the 3D printer) prints.
The new service aims to simplify the 3D print ordering process for many individuals and companies in need of prototypes. Today, when a user is ordering a 3D printed part it is standard to have them upload a model, and then sort through 10-50 settings ranging from material, to process and infill, to shipping. This process is time-consuming and does not always return the desired results. Twist is meant to make it simple enough so that the customer knows what to expect every time and is not required to have an expert understanding of the process.
Slant 3D will be using its 3D printing farms to support the new service. The largest of these, Print Farm Beta, is already partially complete. At capacity, it will have as many as 800 3D printers. The material Slant 3D is using for all of these prototypes will be PETG which is both a functional and aesthetic material. But the company is limiting color selection to black – for the time being – in order to meet the needs of industrial clients.
The additive process being used is FDM. This process is one of the most affordable 3D Printing processes allowing for the low cost per part regardless of size. The print resolution being used is 0.2 mm which is about twice the width of human hair. This resolution allows for a good combination of surface finish and print time. Again allowing the flat-rate model to be sustainable
The cost for a single prototype will be $29 with free shipping. Once ordered a part will be printed within 1-2 business days and shipped. All of this happens regardless of what the part is. Overtime Slant 3D does intend to expand material and color choices. But Twist was created to address the complexity in an industry that is inundated with options. Black PETG will serve as the foundation of the new service.
