TWI to hold Aerospace Panel and Innovation Conference

On 19-20 April, 2023, at the company's HQ near Cambridge

TWI is hosting an Aerospace Panel and Innovation Conference. The in-person event is taking place at the company’s headquarters near Cambridge, UK, and is ideal for those working in aerospace, space and related industries.

This two-day event includes technical workshops and conferences, as well as sector-specific panel sessions for business segments of the wider sector. Topics to be covered in these sessions include sustainable aviation, advanced manufacturing, propulsion and testing.

A full technical program has been designed to keep participants up-to-date with the latest technology developments at TWI and some of the group’s sector-leading Industrial Members and partners. Insights will be provided and discussed on additive and near-net-shape manufacturing, zero-defect production, electric propulsion, battery welding, coating technologies, electron beam welding solutions, composites, digital twins, structural health monitoring, and more.

Experts from TWI will be joined by well-known guest speakers – including senior figures from BAE Systems, European Space Agency, Boeing, Rolls Royce, UK Space Agency, ThinkOrbital, the Aerospace Technology Institute, Mars Space Ltd, and others.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to arrange 1:1 sessions with experts during the conference to receive in-depth industry insights, discuss technical issues, and more. TWI will also be offering the opportunity to take a tour around its engineering facilities, to see available resources to meet any technical or manufacturing needs.

In addition, this event includes a supply chain and innovator exhibition, where participants will be able to interact with companies such as Welding Alloys Ltd, ESAB and TEC-Eurolab, who will be displaying their latest products, services and innovations. Networking opportunities will include a drinks reception on April 19th.
