Turkey’s largest 3D printed sculpture “KÖK” (ROOT), created by renowned artist Leyla Emadi, was unveiled on the occasion of SANKO Holding’s 120th anniversary. The sculpture, produced by local 3D printing company Factory Of US, stands as a testament to sustainability and cutting-edge technology for one of the largest textile, renewable energy, cement and packaging producers in the country.
At an impressive size of 12 meters by 7 meters by 1.5 meters, “KÖK” is now on display at the historic Gaziantep Pürsefa Inn, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience it until December 9th, 2024. Curated by Ayça Okay, the exhibition integrates modern innovation with artistic expression in a remarkable way.
Produced by Factory of Us, this piece is entirely crafted from 100% recyclable materials. Using advanced 3D printing technology, the project highlights the potential of combining technological progress with environmental responsibility. In addition to unveiling the sculpture, SANKO Holding has extended its commitment to environmental sustainability by partnering with the TEMA Foundation to plant six trees in the Kahramanmaraş Çukurhisar region.
