# Titan America introduces patented 3D printable concrete xForm3D

Titan America SA has introduced xForm3D, a US-patented [3D printable concrete technology](https://www.voxelmatters.com/sustainable-load-bearing-printable-concrete-being-developed-in-singapore/) developed to support automated construction methods across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and coastal applications. The Norfolk, Virginia-based company says it released the product family as a response to persistent labor shortages, demand for faster project delivery, and affordability pressures in the housing sector.

## Three formulations, distinct applications

The xForm3D family comprises three products. xForm3D Standard is designed for [general automated construction and uses rapid-set chemistry to support continuous printing](https://www.voxelmatters.com/shimizu-corporation-develops-spray-based-3d-concrete-printing/) without traditional formwork. xForm3D Marine is engineered for [underwater and coastal environments](https://www.voxelmatters.com/luyten-3d-and-university-of-wollongong-develop-australias-first-submerged-concrete-3d-printing-system/), with stated applications including artificial reef construction and resilient coastal infrastructure.

And xForm3D RMX is formulated with larger aggregate sizes to allow delivery by ready-mix truck, extending the technology's reach to sites where dedicated printing equipment may not be present.

The material's automated placement process reduces dependence on conventional formwork while allowing for complex geometries that would be cost-prohibitive using standard concrete methods, the company stated.

## Growth markets and executive position

Titan America operates cement plants, ready-mix concrete facilities, aggregates and sand mines, and concrete block plants across Florida, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Metro New York/New Jersey region.
