Tethon3D and Carima unveil Gazelle ultra-fast ceramic 3D printer
Offering high-speed capabilities via C-CAT technology with Tethon3D's ceramic slurries

Tethon3D, in collaboration with Korean company Carima, has introduced the Gazelle, which it hails as the “world’s fastest industrial ceramic 3D printer”. Powered by Carima’s high-speed DLP C-CAT technology, it achieves print speeds of over 30 cm per hour, setting a new standard for rapid manufacturing. This advanced DLP 3D printer combines high-power stability, automatic material feeding, and a heating mechanism for optimal performance.
The Gazelle is engineered to deliver precision and speed with a large build volume of 320 x 290 x 500 mm (46 liters). It features a dual 4K UHD UV LED light source, ensuring high-resolution prints with layer thickness options ranging from 10 to 250 microns. With a maximum print speed of 400 mm per hour, it can outperform many competitors in the ceramic 3D printing sector.
The machine is equipped with S-BAT, Carima’s proprietary Dual DLP Engine Nesting Technology, which streamlines mass production, efficiently printing large and heavy models with stability and reduced risk of failure. The TFS (Tension-Free System) improves printing accuracy and durability. An automatic resin dispenser ensures seamless material flow without manual intervention. The open material system eliminates additional fees or restrictions on compatible materials. High power stability is enhanced by TFF heating technology, ensuring consistent print quality.
Unlike many industrial 3D printers that come with expensive leasing models, the Gazelle allows businesses to own their machines outright. This results in no hidden costs and a lower cost per part, making it a more cost-effective solution for large-scale production.
The Gazelle from Tethon3D features a build size of 320 x 290 x 500 mm, offering a 46-liter volume. Its pixel size measures 75μm with layer thickness varying from 10 to 250μm, depending on the material. The printer has a 385, 405nm UV LED light source and a dual 4K UHD UV LED resolution. Its overall machine size is 1,000 x 775 x 1,950 mm, weighing 450kg.
