Tech Print Industries brings its eyewear design platform to market as TPI Studio
The browser-based tool behind TPI's 3D printed eyewear production opens as a standalone SaaS platform at SILMO Paris 2026, with a beta launching this fall
Tech Print Industries will give the eyewear industry its first look at TPI Studio at SILMO Paris 2026, opening up the design environment it built for its own 3D printing production line as a standalone platform for the wider market. The Dutch eyewear design, technology and manufacturing specialist exhibits at Paris Nord Villepinte, booth U044, from September 25 to 28, with a beta program opening this fall.
The move builds on TPI’s SILMO Paris 2025 debut of its Design Gallery software, which let brands and designers build eyewear collections from TPI’s modular parts library, with real-time customization, integrated virtual try-on and an AI-generated photoshoot tool. Where Design Gallery packaged that design layer for TPI’s own clients, TPI Studio positions the underlying platform as infrastructure the rest of the eyewear industry can run on directly, independent of TPI’s own manufacturing line.
TPI produces its eyewear on HP’s Multi Jet Fusion systems, working from a modular library of fronts, hinges, nose pads and temples that removes the need for molds or held inventory. The company sums up that approach in its own tagline: “Design it. Visualize it. Print it. Wear it.”
