3D Printz Limited, a 3D printing distributor based in Telford, England, has announced a partnership with Antclabs, a South Korean supplier of 3D printer bed leveling systems. Through the collaboration, 3D Printz will distribute the company’s BLTouch product across the UK.

BLTouch is Antclab’s award-winning auto bed leveling sensor for 3D printers. The device, which is unobtrusive and simple to install, is a type of semiconductor hall sensor capable of precisely measuring the tilt of print bed surface. The system has a standard deviation of just 0.005 mm and is reportedly compatible with any print bed material, including glasses, woods and metals. 3D Printz will now resell the BLTouch product, along with its extension cables and replacement pins, across the British market.

“Bed levelling problems can give people a hard time, and lead to the creation of a low quality product,” said Paris Kyung-yeon Lee, Founder of Antclabs and inventor of BLTouch. “With BLTouch, 3D printing becomes a much more enjoyable and exciting experience – allowing you to create a masterpiece with high precision.”

3D Printz Director Peter Roberts added: “We’re delighted with this partnership. There are several imitations on the market at the moment, but their performance simply isn’t comparable with BLTouch. This is a high-quality bed levelling sensor that will help you level your bed with ease, and works with all types of print bed surfaces, such as glass, PEI and even flex plate systems. It aims for user convenience and enjoyable printing by adding many smart functions, such as self-test, alarm, alarm release and touch switch mode, blue LED for servo signal indicating and Z-probe (Zmin) testing.”

In recent months, 3D Printz has expanded its distribution partnerships significantly, signing on as an official UK reseller for Micro Swiss LLC, a manufacturer of 3D printer replacement nozzles and hot end kits based in America’s Mid West, and Thought3D, a Malta-based developer of Magigoo adhesive products. The company, founded in 2016, offers a range of 3D printing products and accessories to clients across the UK.
