Solukon to show depowdering system and simulation software at IMTS 2026
German manufacturer returns to Chicago with a live SFM-AT350 demonstration and the debut of SPR-Pathfinder PRO
Solukon will exhibit at IMTS 2026 in Chicago for the second consecutive year, bringing its SFM-AT350 depowdering system and the newly introduced SPR-Pathfinder PRO simulation software to the show, which runs September 14-19 at McCormick Place.
The SFM-AT350 handles metal parts up to 400 x 400 x 400 millimeters and 100 kilograms, and is built for automating and scaling the postprocessing of additively manufactured components.Â
At the booth, Solukon will run the system live on a heat exchanger designed and printed by Penn United on an EOS M 400-4 machine, demonstrating the depowdering process for a part produced jointly by the two partner companies.
Show debut for Pathfinder
SPR-Pathfinder PRO, which Solukon introduced earlier this year as the next version of its depowdering software, will appear at a trade show for the first time at IMTS. Beyond generating a component-specific movement pattern from a part’s CAD file, the software simulates the full depowdering process, which helps users identify powder bottlenecks that could occur inside a part before processing starts.Â
The software also estimates how long the depowdering process will take, supporting planning, optimization and scheduling of postprocessing operations.
Global Sales Director Michael Sattler and Senior Sales Manager Jutta Ulbricht will lead Solukon’s sales team at the booth, alongside representatives from the company’s Certified Solukon Partners for the U.S. market: DMARK, MAHAR, NB Additive and Phillips.
