Solukon has confirmed its exhibition line up for Rapid + TCT 2026 in Boston, where it will showcase two postprocessing developments for the additive manufacturing industry: a special configuration of its SFM-AT350-E depowdering system compatible with the EOS M4 ONYX printer, and an ultrasonic depowdering process targeting medical implant applications.

EOS M4 ONYX compatibility

The SFM-AT350-E, configured in a new ONYX-specific version, is designed for compact parts with a z-height below 250 mm and a maximum weight of 100 kg. The system will be shown publicly for the first time at the Boston event.

Solukon claims the SFM-AT350-E offered the best cost-to-footprint ratio of any depowdering system on the market. For larger parts produced on the EOS M4 ONYX, the company highlights its SFM-AT800-S and SFM-AT1000-S systems as appropriate alternatives.

Ultrasonic depowdering for medical parts

Solukon will also demonstrate ultrasonic depowdering of titanium spinal cages using the SFM-AT350-E. The method uses ultrasonic technology to remove residual powder from complex internal geometries, with the company stating the process avoids compromising structural integrity or surface quality.

Solukon says the approach is particularly suited to sensitive implants, where precision and material care are critical requirements. The demonstration will show titanium spinal cages being processed live inside the system.

Rapid + TCT 2026 is North America’s largest AM and industrial 3D printing event and will take place from April 13-16. Solukon will be stationed at booth 1435.
