Solukon debuts robotic finishing and ultrasonic depowdering at Formnext 2025

The company is unveiling a special edition of its flagship SFM-AT800-S system, developed in collaboration with automation partners Grenzebach and Yaskawa. The new variant combines automated part transport with robotic finishing, expanding the machine’s core depowdering capabilities. Solukon states the integration is designed to reduce manual handling and streamline post-processing workflows for complex metal parts.
Also on display is the SFM-AT350-E, a modified version of Solukon’s best-selling depowdering system tailored for delicate geometries. The E-model incorporates ultrasonic excitation for quieter operation and gentler powder removal. According to Solukon, the system supports parts weighing up to 100 kilograms and is compatible with build plates from large-format printers, including the EOS M 400 and Nikon SLM 500.
Formnext 2025 also marks Solukon’s 10th anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, the company is offering a limited run of 50 anniversary packages to visitors who participate in an in-booth photo promotion.
