German 3D printing reseller Solidpro, an HP Gold Partner, has announced a strategic partnership with Munich-based DyeMansion, a provider of post-processing solutions for polymer additive manufacturing. Through the collaboration, the partners are aiming to offer their customers access to the entire AM value chain, from concept to finishing.

In 2015, DyeMansion brought to market the world’s first coloring system for 3D printed plastic components. Five years later and the company is a leading finishing solutions company with a versatile product offering. Today, the company’s post-processing technologies are used for many products, including eyewear and customized car interiors.

Through the partnership, Solidpro will now offer its clients DyeMansion’s range of products, including cleaning, surfacing and coloring solutions for polymer parts. The addition of DyeMansion’s products to its portfolio signals Solidpro’s complete AM value chain offering, both for HP Multi Jet Fusion technology and for other plastic 3D printing solutions.

“We are pleased to have found a strong partner in DyeMansion, who understands the market requirements in the field of post-processing and provides the appropriate solutions and continuously develops them further,” said Steffen Hägele, Team Leader 3D Printing at Solidpro. “The DyeMansion products harmonize perfectly with the HP Multi Jet Fusion technology and support our customers on their path to automated, professional additive manufacturing.”

Kai Witter, Chief Customer Officer at DyeMansion, added: Solidpro is one of the most well-known and successful HP partners worldwide and enjoys an excellent reputation with customers. We are very pleased about the new partnership. Germany is our home market and therefore of particular importance to us. By completing the AM value chain with the DyeMansion Print-to-Product platform, Solidpro offers the right portfolio and know-how that users need when implementing their applications in 3D printing. Namely an answer to the question: ‘How do I get from my idea to the finished series product?’”

The companies revealed their collaboration this week at AMForum in Berlin, where they made a joint appearance. To further cement their partnership, Solidpro will open a post-processing demonstration center at its headquarters in Langenau, where interested customers can see DyeMansion’s solutions first hand.
