Ideal for beginners and professionals at all levels, Artisan is the result of 516 days of work vastly improving Snapmaker’s flagship product Snapmaker 2.0 which raised $7,850,866 USD as the most funded-technology project on Kickstarter in 2019.
Compared with Snapmaker 2.0, it not only inherits the high quality and high performance that Snapmaker’s product always has, but also sets a new standard for 3-in-1 printers. Artisan can further meet the needs of different fabrication scenarios and truly turn your desktop into a workshop.

The Artisan’s industrial-grade transmission technology is applied to desktop fabrication—steel guide rails made by CNC grinding at micron level are embedded in the new linear modules. This leads to a significant rise in precision, rigidity and durability, bringing you a fast, accurate and steady making experience.
Snapmaker Artisan features a 400mm x 400mm x 400mm work area, where you can create larger projects in one piece. Its quick-swap platforms and tool heads enable users to shift between three functions in one minute. No more screws.
Equipped with dual extruders that can heat up to 300°C, Artisan is able to print with not only dissolvable and breakaway supports, but also tricky materials like nylon. Optimized transmission system and motion control algorithm enable ±0.1 mm dimensional accuracy even at 150-180 mm/s high speed. Automatic bed leveling and dual extruders’ Z offset calibration make it super easy to prepare your work.
Coming with the latest 10W Laser Module, Artisan is also capable of faster and deeper cutting on more materials and delivering refined laser engraving. The 10W Laser Module can engrave at a speed as high as 6000mm/min, while cutting through wood as thick as 8mm in a single pass.
Artisan further improves the CNC performance to 200W. It has increased by 300% in power and 50% in max spindle speed, making it 6 times faster in machining on hardwood like beech, with a dimensional accuracy of up to 0.2mm.
In Artisan, the power module, emergency stop button, master control and touch screen are integrated into an Integrated Control System, changing how you interact with the touchscreen and the whole controller. The system comes with a compatible enclosure, offering an extra layer of safety during the making process.
