Switzerland-based SLS 3D printer manufacturer Sintratec has expanded its distribution network to include Bender Additive Manufacturing (AM), a Dutch industrial specialist. The partnership strengthens Sintratec’s presence in the Benelux region as well as Western Europe more broadly.

Bender AM was founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of Bendertechniek B.V., an expert in metal and plastics processing with over 50 years experience. The company, formed in an effort to keep up with the advancing additive manufacturing industry, is now a key distributor of 3D printing products and materials in the Dutch and Flemish markets. Now, the company is adding Sintratec’s compact SLS systems to its portfolio, which also includes products from EOS, Gefertec, Lithoz, Cooksongold and 3D-MicroPrint.

“Bender Additive Manufacturing BV, from Veenendaal in The Netherlands, is proud to be a sales partner of Sintratec AG,” commented Henny ten Pas, Sales Manager at Bender AM. “With their products and services Bender AM completes its portfolio. Sintratec provides us with the possibility to promote additive manufacturing of industrial grade polymer materials at an affordable price.”

The Sintratec S2 3D printing solution

Gabor Koppanyi, Head of Marketing & Sales at Sintratec, echoed the sentiment, saying: “We are very happy to have found an experienced and professional partner with Bender Additive Manufacturing B.V. for the Benelux. With their long-term experience in production machinery and especially in industrial grade 3D printing systems, this is the perfect match for both sides and a great step forward for our local customers.”

Sintratec’s S2 3D printing solution is of particular interest to Bender AM, which believes the compact and accessible system will complement the large industrial-grade SLS systems in its portfolio, such as EOS’ P770 system. The S2 3D printer, which debuted at Formnext 2018, is a modular system built for industrial prototyping applications as well as for small- and medium-sized series production.

“With their first-class systems for small scale production, product development and prototyping, we consider Sintratec to be the missing link for the benefit of our clients in the Benelux region,” added Henny ten Pas.

Sintratec’s distribution network also includes CMF Marelli in Italy, L.corporation in South Korea, 3DChimera in the U.S., MANN Datentechnik in Germany and others.
