Sintratec, a Swiss developer and manufacturer of professional laser sintering systems, is entering into a new partnership with German provider of additive manufacturing solutions, Solidpro – significantly expanding Sintratec’s distribution network in Central Europe. This news comes after Sintratec recently expanded its European reach by naming d4pro as the official Sintratec distributor for the Austrian market.

Solidpro, owned by Bechtle AG – a multinational technology company that combines information technology services with the direct sale of hardware and software IT products – supports the entire 3D value chain of its customers, from the development to the production and manufacturing. For more than 25 years, the highly qualified and certified employees have been providing customized and industry-specific solutions at 11 locations throughout Germany.

In addition to its wide range of software, Solidpro already distributes the additive manufacturing solutions of HP and Markforged. For the additive manufacturing post-process, Solidpro relies on solutions by DyeMansion, a leader in post-processing solutions for industrial polymer 3D printing. Solidpro’s portfolio is now expanded by the scalable Sintratec S2 system.

For Sintratec, the cooperation with Solidpro marks a significant expansion of the existing German distribution network. Solidpro is already representing SIntratec’s products at the Rapid.Tech 3D exhibition in Erfurt, this month.

“We have critically examined the market for a cost-effective compact system for the powder-bed process. With Sintratec as our partner, we have gained a perfect addition to our product portfolio. We were especially convinced by the modular and scalable system design,” said August Kurz, Manufacturing Sales Director at Solidpro.

“In Solidpro we have found a very experienced and well-established partner. Adding the range of their 3D printing products and services with Sintratec is the ideal entry into SLS technology. We at Sintratec are very excited about this partnership – but most importantly, our local customers in Germany will benefit greatly,” said Gabor Koppanyi, Head of Marketing and Sales at Sintratec.
