Sinterit launches SUZY SLS 3D printer for small-scale production and prototyping
With an ultra-affordable price point
After experiencing a challenging period that required the company’s shareholders to raise more capital, Sinterit has now re-emerged and officially launched SUZY, its latest SLS 3D printer, designed specifically for small-scale production and prototyping. With a focus on affordability, efficiency, and high-quality printing, SUZY introduces SLS technology at a price point that makes professional-grade 3D printing accessible to a wider audience. With one of the most competitive price points in the global market for SLS systems, it is expected to offer fast build speeds, precision, and cost-effective performance.
Leveraging Sinterit’s extensive experience, the new SUZY 3D printer promises fast and efficient printing with speeds of up to 20 mm/h. This allows users to produce high-quality prints quickly without compromising on precision, making it ideal for rapid prototyping and small-batch production. High print quality is achieved through its high-precision IR Fiber Coupled Diode Laser (30W) and Galvo scanner, which enable detailed and accurate prints. With a layer height of just 0.075 mm, SUZY ensures repeatable and precise results for even the most intricate designs.
Pricing & availability
Available for purchase in April 2025, SUZY is priced at €17,590, making it one of the most cost-effective professional SLS 3D printers available today. Its price is lower than that of the current market leader (and only competitor in this market segment), the Fuse1 from Formlabs. Compared to traditional SLS 3D printers, SUZY lowers the overall operating costs, making it a practical choice for businesses and professionals looking for industrial-quality printing at a fraction of the price. Currently SUZY supports PA12 Industrial material, ensuring strong, durable, and high-quality prints. This makes it suitable for functional parts, prototypes, and end-use applications in industries ranging from manufacturing and engineering to research and product development.
SUZY is designed for a range of users, including small businesses seeking an affordable yet professional-grade SLS 3D printer, engineering teams in need of rapid prototyping capabilities, and manufacturers producing small-batch parts with high precision. Additionally, universities and research labs will benefit from SUZY’s advanced SLS technology at a cost-effective price.
