Sinterit introduced the BIANCO2, a compact CO₂ selective laser sintering 3D printer designed for companies requiring broader material options and tighter process control than standard compact SLS systems offer. The machine is available for preorder at €47,000 ($51,100), with a 15% discount applied to the first 30 orders placed with 50% prepayment. First deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.
The BIANCO2 extends Sinterit’s compact SLS platform beyond conventional technical powders to include white, natural, and colorable materials—a distinction that opens the system to applications where surface appearance matters alongside mechanical performance. Target use cases include engineering components, industrial tooling, medical devices, orthotics, flexible products, and low-volume production runs.
“The CO₂ laser opens up new application possibilities for our customers while remaining true to what has defined Sinterit for years — professional, accessible, compact, and user-friendly SLS,” said Łukasz Adach, Chief Financial Officer at Sinterit.
Hardware and process
The BIANCO2 is built around a 30W RF CO₂ laser and a four-zone heating architecture with 19 independent heating elements. The build volume is 130 × 180 × 330 mm, and the build speed reaches up to 30 mm/h. The system includes a dedicated high-performance laser water chiller and supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity.
The four-zone heating design gives operators localized thermal control across the build chamber — a factor that becomes relevant when processing materials with different sintering windows or when developing custom powder profiles.
The machine runs on Sinterit Studio Ultimate with Full Open Parameters, giving operators access to up to 137 individual print settings. The level of configurability is positioned for users who want to experiment with new powder formulations, develop proprietary workflows, or push the system into application areas not covered by standard material profiles.
“From a technical perspective, BianCO2 gives us additional scope to work with the sintering process and the energy absorption characteristics of powder materials,” said Paweł Szczurek, Chief Executive Officer at Sinterit. “The result is a machine designed not only for printing parts, but for conscious application development — where support-free geometry, functional properties, rapid iteration and the ability to tailor the process to a specific material or industry are key.”
Most entry-level SLS systems ship with locked or semi-locked parameter sets, limiting their use to validated materials from the OEM’s own portfolio. BIANCO2’s open approach makes the platform directly relevant to R&D departments, universities, and companies developing specialized applications or proprietary powders.
Targeting Q4 2026
Sinterit structured the BIANCO2 launch around a preorder program that includes application testing, sample prints from customer CAD models, and materials consultation with Sinterit engineers. The program is designed to help prospective buyers validate the system against their specific workflows before committing to full purchase.
First deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026. The standard price around $50,000 places the BIANCO2 within Sinterit’s established compact SLS pricing range, which has historically targeted industrial users and research institutions that need professional SLS capability without the footprint or cost of large-format systems.
