SignifyMyCreation launches new Puzzle 3D printed luminaire

SignifyMyCreation has officially unveiled its latest innovation in lighting design, a modular luminaire named Puzzle. This latest product combines the creativity of geometric design with the advanced capabilities of 3D printing, marking a new era in sustainable, intelligent, and customizable lighting. At its core, Puzzle is a celebration of form, function, and forward-thinking technology.

Taking its initial shape as a linear pendant light, Puzzle is now available in 4 and 5-foot versions (approximately 1.2 and 1.5 meters), ideal for modern office spaces. From the outset, Puzzle is Interact-ready and smart-system compatible, designed to integrate seamlessly into any contemporary workspace. With a continuous, shadow-free glowing light effect and office-compliant brightness, Puzzle is a solution crafted with both aesthetic appeal and functional integrity in mind.

The Puzzle design features a refined geometric structure, composed of elegant square cells, crafted to emphasize the harmonious dance between light and architectural structure. Its minimalist yet bold form gives interior designers and architects a flexible, visual language to play with. But the true brilliance of Puzzle lies in how it’s made.

Thanks to filament material extrusion 3D printing technology, Puzzle is produced in a process that minimizes waste and removes the need for traditional heavy molds. This sustainable approach reduces material usage and energy consumption, setting a new benchmark in circular lighting design. What’s more, the printed components are crafted from 75% recycled PET material, reflecting SignifyMyCreation’s commitment to environmentally responsible innovation.

At the heart of this project is Florent Coirier, a Paris-based designer born in Nantes in 1983. A graduate of ENSAAMA Olivier de Serres and holding a Master of Design from BIAD – BCU, Coirier is known for his focus on practicality, functionality, and sustainability. His designs are the result of close collaboration with manufacturers, ensuring both feasibility and creativity. Coirier has earned recognition through prestigious awards including the RED DOT AWARD (2019) and GOOD DESIGN AWARD (2018), and has contributed his expertise to international brands such as EMU, Serralunga, and Ligne Roset.

Puzzle’s current form is just the beginning. In 2026, the product line will evolve further, with the introduction of geometric polygon shapes, including squares, hexagons, and octagons, each available in three different sizes. This next phase opens up even more creative avenues for lighting design, transforming ceilings and walls into dynamic canvases of light and structure.
