# SHINING 3D releases Inspect 2026 with modular workflow architecture

[SHINING 3D](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/shining-3d/) has released Inspect 2026, an updated version of its 3D inspection software designed to give quality engineers and manufacturers greater flexibility across dimensional inspection and quality control tasks. The software carries PTB measurement certification and was developed in-house by the company.

The release targets industries including automotive, civil aviation, and precision manufacturing, with a workflow structure that guides users from feature creation and alignment through geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) evaluation, full-field deviation analysis, and report generation. Multiple alignment methods are available to accommodate different component geometries and inspection scenarios.

Full-field comparison between scan data and CAD models is handled through 3D color maps and 2D cross-sectional analysis tools, and the software supports both ISO and ASME GD&T evaluation standards for tolerance verification and dimensional validation.

## Application modules and deployment options

Inspect 2026 introduces dedicated modules for sheet metal inspection and dent inspection, which SHINING 3D states are intended to reduce setup time and give inspectors faster access to task-relevant functions.

The software supports three deployment configurations.
