SHINING 3D has launched ShiningSpace, a platform for storing, managing, viewing, sharing and reusing 3D assets captured from real-world objects. The system has been developed to help users in education, engineering, manufacturing and 3D printing, who often struggle to organize scan files, review models without separate software, and share content.

Shining 3D launches ShiningSpace browser platform

ShiningSpace accepts uploads from SHINING 3D scanners, other scanners and other 3D workflows. SHINING 3D users can link a Shining 3D Digital Cloud account to sync scan data from scanners such as the EINSTAR VEGA and the EinScan Rigil series. ShiningSpace will serve as the evolution of Digital Cloud, with more features.

“ShiningSpace goes beyond basic model previews with textured, point-cloud, wireframe, and X-ray viewing modes,” the company stated upon release of the platform. Users can run model quality checks and measure dimensions in the browser without additional downloads or specialized software.

A 3D Setting Editor supports model transformation, camera settings, background changes and post-processing effects, alongside a free library of materials and texture assets.

Owners can allow model downloads or restrict access to view-only, and can set granular permissions over who accesses shared models. Models can be posted to social media accounts, with screen recording also available.

The platform carries a Copyright Infringement Notice Policy, and has been designed with data protection in mind, with SHINING 3D citing the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area.

SHINING 3D plans to add 3D modeling tools, a model marketplace, scan-to-print workflows, a scan app, 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), 4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS) and creator incentive programs.

Early creators may receive launch-period promotional support, including featured exposure and social media promotion.
