Shining 3D launches new EinScan Rigil scanner
The first Tri-Mode wireless 3D scanner for automotive prosumers and more
Shining 3D, a developer of 3D scanning technology, has launched EinScan Rigil, a Tri-Mode 3D scanner that integrates computing, wireless capabilities, and hybrid light technology in one device. The scanner is designed to deliver industrial-grade precision and unmatched flexibility to professional users—especially in the automotive aftermarket sector.
With 20 years of expertise in metrology-grade 3D scanning, Shining 3D continues its mission to make high-end digital tools accessible to prosumers. EinScan Rigil offers up to 0.04 + 0.06 mm/m volumetric accuracy and geometric resolution as fine as 0.05 mm, supported by a triple-light system: 19+19 crossed blue lasers for speed, 7 parallel blue lasers for detail, and an infrared VCSEL projector for marker-free scanning and wide-area coverage.
The Tri-Mode 3D scanner offers: Standalone Mode for complete scanning and processing without a PC; Wireless PC Mode which uses Wi-Fi 6 to transmit data in real time to a computer for enhanced power and flexibility; and Wired PC Mode to ensure top performance and stability for heavy-duty projects.
Beyond power and precision, EinScan Rigil is built for real-world conditions. It delivers high-quality scanning even in direct sunlight, handles dark or reflective surfaces without spray, and captures full-color 5MP texture data for unmatched realism.
A proprietary marker-free scanning algorithm merges laser and infrared data to strike the ideal balance between speed and fidelity—outperforming traditional marker-based and IR-only scans. The device is powered by dual 6000mAh batteries and features an onboard 8-core CPU, 32GB RAM, and a 6.4” AMOLED display, making it easily portable.
Bundled with the professional EXScan Rigil software suite, users can seamlessly edit, refine, and export scans for automotive customization, digital modeling, medical applications, and more.
