SHINING 3D expands its Metrology Day seminar series across four countries in 2026

SHINING 3D hosted Metrology Day events in Chonburi, Thailand; Tampa, Florida; Querétaro, Mexico; and Brisbane, Australia, during the first half of 2026, extending a seminar series the company launched to connect manufacturers with its industrial 3D metrology technology on a local basis.

The events drew engineers and manufacturing professionals from the automotive, tooling, heavy industry and precision engineering sectors.

Each seminar centered on helping manufacturers improve quality control, refine production workflows and digitize measurement processes using high-accuracy 3D scanning equipment. SHINING 3D presented developments from more than 20 years of work in 3D vision technology, spanning industrial 3D scanners, inspection software, reverse engineering tools and automatic measurement systems.

Sessions were structured around complete workflows covering design, manufacturing, inspection and quality control rather than individual product demonstrations.

Customer case studies featured alongside live demonstrations

Customer representatives described their own experience applying SHINING 3D equipment to inspection processes, product quality improvement and reverse engineering work at each event. 

These accounts were paired with live product demonstrations and hands-on sessions, giving attendees direct exposure to the equipment alongside the seminar content and opening up technical discussion among attendees.

Series set to continue into new regions

SHINING 3D stated it now supports customers in more than 100 countries through a network of research and development, technical support and local service teams, and it positioned Metrology Day as part of that broader infrastructure. 

The company said it plans to continue bringing the seminar series to additional regions, continuing the localized format of technical sessions, application case studies and hands-on product access established during the 2026 events.
