Inovsys SAS, the Marignane, France, based service platform for industrial innovation and research, is partnering with Roboze, a leading Italian producer of additive manufacturing solutions, on development and study of new materials for 3D printing processes, mainly in the fields of aerospace and medicine. As part of the agreement, Inovsys has purchased a hardware system from Roboze.

Inovsys SAS provides services enabling industrial clients to manage risk when integrating innovation. Its activities lead SMEs through the development of new products and processes, aiming to increase their production efficiency. Besides R&D activities such as 3D printing, its services include integration of innovative processes into its client products and production workflows, providing assistance for process qualification.

“Roboze was the best partner regarding field of expertise and specificities of our ongoing collaborative project ” affirms Guilhem Monti, President of Inovsys.

The Inovsys SAS and Roboze collaboration, supported by Roboze’s commercial partner for the French market Kreos, will be integrated within in the “Team Henri-Fabre” project. This international consortium of organizations focuses on mechanics, materials and future processes for manufacturing in several industrial segments.

Roboze was a natural fit as the Italian producer developed unique technologies in the field of additive manufacturing. The company was first to offer the possibility to produce functional prototypes and end-user parts using metal replacement materials such as PEEK and PEI, reaching up to 25 micron mechatronic accuracies.

The ultimate goal of this partnership is the development of new materials in association with 3D printing solutions finalized to empower the aerospace and medical industries, by evaluating first the impact that these technologies will have in the coming months on the market.

“This collaboration confirms how, once again, our offer is able to support several companies and to foresee new technologies designed to create more advanced systems and applications and to introduce them quickly on the market.” affirms Alessio Lorusso, Roboze Founder&CEO. “Thanks to the partnership with Inovsys SAS, as well as in general with the Henri-Fabre team, we have the chance to develop advanced production techniques, aimed to deliver the best solutions to our customers in a faster way”.
