Raise3D launches E3 Printer at FABTECH 2025
Available starting September 8, 2025 at an MSRP of $2,499 in the US and €1,999 in Europe.
Raise3D launched the new E3 IDEX 3D printer at FABTECH 2025. A Successor to the E2 and E2CF, the E3 is designed to meet the evolving demands of modern manufacturing. The popular E2 machine has been fine-tuned in terms of precision, efficiency, and versatility, and the new E3 targets improved prototyping and scaled-up end-use part production.
“The E3 redefines flexible material printing by merging versatility with performance,” said Edward Feng, Raise3D’s Global CEO, commenting on the launch. “Building on the E Series legacy, it enhances the E2’s TPU printing capabilities and the E2CF’s composite filament printing expertise—now with notably faster print speeds and expanded material options.”
The E3 from Raise 3D introduces a new level of performance and flexibility for 3D printing, especially for users working with challenging materials. One of its key features is compatibility with Raise3D’s Flexible Filament Auxiliary Feeder. This auxiliary feeding and buffer system enhances the feed rate of flexible filaments such as TPU, enabling the E3 to print high-quality TPU parts at speeds of up to 200 mm/s. By integrating this system, the E3 not only achieves faster feed rates but also expands its compatibility with a wider range of flexible and elastic materials.
In addition to flexible filament printing, the E3 also supports composite filaments when equipped with the optional composite filament print head. This allows the use of Raise3D’s latest Hyper Speed PLA Pro Filament and other advanced materials. With the new Pro Ironing feature—a combination of the E3 hardware, compatible Hyper Speed PLA Pro or Industrial PETG ESD filaments, and optimized slicing profiles in ideaMaker—the printer can deliver exceptional surface finishes. The results are comparable to injection molding, with an average roughness (Ra) of less than 2 µm, ensuring parts with a professional-grade appearance.
The E3 is also designed as an IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder) 3D printer. This means it supports multiple advanced print modes, including mirror mode, duplication mode, dual-color printing, and dual-material printing. With a maximum print speed of 200 mm/s and the ability to print two identical models at once, the E3 significantly boosts production efficiency and throughput. Moreover, the IDEX system allows users to combine materials that require very different printing temperatures, expanding creative possibilities.
To further enhance reliability and print quality, the E3 features automatic bed leveling. Using a built-in sensor, it measures the distance between the nozzle and the print bed at multiple points to ensure precise calibration. This 9-point leveling system improves adhesion, increases print success rates, and guarantees consistent results across different surface conditions. In addition, the printer now supports substrate printing on compatible flat surfaces, enabling users to print directly onto items such as phone cases and unlock new opportunities for customization.
The Raise3D E3 officially becomes available starting September 8, 2025 at an MSRP of $2,499 in the US and €1,999 in Europe. Customers who place orders between September 8 and September 30, 2025, can take advantage of an exclusive special offer. Note that pricing applies to the US and Europe markets, with variations possible in other regions.
