# qualloy to distribute Constellium’s Aheadd CP1 aluminum powder in Europe

[qualloy](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/qualloy/) has signed a distributor agreement with [Constellium](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/constellium/) for Aheadd CP1, an aluminum powder built for additive manufacturing AM. The deal means Constellium's material will be sold to European customers through qualloy's online marketplace and webshop.

Aheadd CP1 will be stocked in Germany starting in August, allowing qualloy to ship orders to customers across Europe on short notice, according to the companies. [qualloy will offer the material alongside Rosswag Engineering, an AM company with experience in powder handling, qualification, processing and application development](https://www.voxelmatters.com/qualloy-secures-funding-from-rosswag-engineering/).

[Rosswag Engineering](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/rosswag-engineering/) also uses Aheadd CP1 in its own AM operations, which the companies said gives it a technical basis for supporting customers.

## Local stock and pricing

The agreement pairs German stock availability with what the companies described as shorter lead times across Europe and a competitive pricing structure.[ Customers also gain access to technical support and dedicated contacts through qualloy and Rosswag Engineering](https://www.voxelmatters.com/eplus3d-rosswag-engineering-and-qualloy-sign-mou-to-build-validated-metal-am-ecosystem/). 

Constellium presented the arrangement as [part of its strategy to expand access to Aheadd CP1 through distribution partners](https://www.voxelmatters.com/eos-expands-aluminum-alloy-portfolio-through-partnership-with-constellium/), particularly for customers seeking flexible order quantities, fast delivery and local support.

“By entering into this distributor agreement with Constellium, we are strengthening access to one of the most advanced aluminum powders for additive manufacturing,” said Yannik Wilkens, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of qualloy.

“Together with Rosswag Engineering, we can offer not only fast supply from Germany, but also deep technical expertise and practical application experience for customers across Europe.”

## Material properties and applications

[Aheadd CP1 is an aluminum-iron-zirconium powder developed for AM without volatile elements, rare earths, silicon or ceramic particle additions](https://www.voxelmatters.com/constellium-launches-aheadd-a-new-aluminum-powder-for-additive-manufacturing/), according to Constellium. The company said the material offers high strength and ductility, strong thermal and electrical conductivity, high processing productivity and simplified post-processing. Constellium said Aheadd CP1 has been used in aerospace, defense and motorsport AM applications.
