France-based industrial manufacturing company Prodways has announced a new partnership agreement with 3DBioCAD, a dental supply company based in Renton, Washington. Through the agreement, 3DBioCAD has become Prodways’ first Dental Value-Added reseller in the United States.
The reseller agreement was announced just days before LMT Lab-Day Chicago, a professional expo dedicated to all things dental. There, both companies will be showcasing their products for the dentistry market.
From its home in the state of Washington, 3DBioCAD provides premium CAD/CAM solutions and services to customers across the whole of the United States. The company is a CAD/CAM division of a larger, full-service dental laboratory whose aim is to support the digitalization of the dental industry. To date, 3DBioCAD has partnered with leaders from across the Dental CAD/CAM market, and is an authorized reseller of Stratasys, 3Shape and Roland products, among others.
“We believe the dental market is transitioning to the digital age,” the company writes on its website. “However, the passage to digitizing your practice can be daunting and difficult. That’s where we come in. With our experience and expertise, we can be your partner that delivers a complete CAD/CAM solution that will help your business evolve into the new age.”
Through its partnership with Prodways, 3DBioCAD will now offer its clients access to the French company’s ProMaker LD series, based on its proprietary MOVINGLight technology. The 3D printer series, developed for dental applications, offers a build platform of 11.8 x 17.5 inches and a resolution of 42 microns.
Prodways, for its part, will benefit from its agreement with 3DBioCAD as it aims to strengthen its position in the U.S. market by offering premium integration and support services to its customers. As 3DBioCAD customers will have access to Prodways’ 3D printing hardware, Prodways customers will be able to buy CAD/CAM solutions through 3DBioCAD.
