3DP AI-Perfecter streamlines pre-printing process for aerospace, defense and automotive

The software, called 3DP AI-Perfecter, is a pre-printing evaluation tool based on artificial intelligence technologies. The new program is designed to enable industries like aerospace, defense and automotive to fully exploit the benefits of additive manufacturing by improving part consistency and reliability while also reducing labor, as well as production time and costs.

Since its founding, has set out to solve a key challenge for industrial AM users: the cost and labor-intensive pre-printing process. Typically, before a part is printed, it must undergo an analysis which is conducted by highly skilled engineers. This process is time consuming and can create challenges for a company in terms of meeting lead times and regulations. Additionally, because of the manual, non-automated nature of this process, there is room for error, and a high average of parts reportedly turn out dysfunctional.

To address this, has developed a new AI-driven software tool that facilitates the transition from pre-printing to actual production. In this journey, the company has relied on the expertise of its founders, both of whom are 3rd generation in the 3D printing industry and 3D printing mentors.

Moreover, as part of our overall customer-centric approach, we are providing customers with a simple-yet-clever dashboard that could be used to monitor our solution’s impact on their printing process and also might be used to further scale and optimize our customers’ operations. This dashboard can, of course, be customized to specific customer needs.”
