PrintaLot, the leading 3D printing filament manufacturer and distributor in Argentina, is expanding into the key Brazilian market. The company founded by Mariano Pérez and Mariano Scian is opening a local division to cater to South America’s largest economy’s demand for filaments.

“We are very happy to start a new path by expanding the boundaries of PrintaLot. After many presentations, trips, product approvals and, above all, effort, by Jeremías Maier (born entrepreneur in São Paulo, coordinator of many technological projects) we opened the subsidiary PrintaLot do Brasil.”

In February 2018, the first shipment of filaments was sent from the plant in Monte Grande to its brand new Brazilian subsidiary in São Paulo. PrintaLot do Brasil Ltda is now distributing filaments in PLA, ABS, PLA MAX®, Flexible and PETg. Its operations will begin via e-commerce (the website, currently under construction will be accessible at www.printalot.com.br) with short-term plans to open the first physical store. The project includes replicating Argentina’s successful business model, offering FDM, DLP and SLS 3D printers, as well as offering components, printing services and training.

“This achievement, above any business, fills us with pride and happiness,” Scian and Perez said in an official joint statement. “PrintaLot was just an idea born among friends in 2013.  Perseverance, along with the conviction to improve day by day and especially the enjoyment of doing what we like, today finds us taking our brand to Brazil, the largest market in the region, with more than 200 million inhabitants. This operation holds a key strategic importance toward PrintaLot’s goal of consolidating as one of the leading 3D printing brands in Latin America. We want to thank all the staff of PrintaLot, friends, customers, suppliers and distributors who were undoubtedly part of this achievement.”
