PostProcess Technologies expands North American distribution with four key channel partners
PostProcess Technologies, a Buffalo, NY-based leader in post-processing solutions for the industrial 3D printing market, has announced a significant expansion within the North American market through channel partner agreements with AdvancedTek, Cimetrix, Fisher Unitech and Tech-Labs.
Through the new partnerships, PostProcess Technologies will bring its automated post-processing software and hardware solutions to a larger geographic area than ever before, broadening its potential clients as AM adoption increases.
The four companies selected as channel partners were reportedly carefully chosen based on a set of stringent requirements. For instance, all four companies are market leaders in the AM industry, reselling 3D printers and driving the technology’s adoption forward; they all represent and offer both polymer and metal AM systems; and they are all recognized industry advocates, meaning that they each have frameworks in place to support and teach clients about 3D printing adoption and implemenetation.

The first of the four companies, AdvancedTek, is a Platinum Partner reseller for Stratasys and Desktop Metal 3D printers. It will extend PostProcess’ coverage to Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. By marketing and selling the NY-based company’s post-processing products, AdvancedTek says it will be able to provide its clients with a more well-rounded AM solution.

Further North, Canada’s Cimetrix—a division of Javelin Technologies and leading provider of AM solutions for the commercial and academic markets in Canada—will also begin distributing PostProcess’ equipment. With clients in the automotive, aerospace, medical and defense industries, to name but a few, Cimetrix believes PostProcess’ software-driven technology will complement its AM solutions for a range of applications.
Representing PostProcess Technologies in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and New England is Fisher Unitech, a supplier of 3D design software tools and 3D printers. “Fisher Unitech aims to fundamentally improve manufacturing in America by delivering the best product development software and additive manufacturing solutions available,” said Matt Wise, CEO at Fisher Unitech. Presently, Fisher Unitech is one of the world’s biggest providers of Stratasys 3D printers.
Finally, Tech-Labs will become PostProcess’ channel partner representing the South-Central U.S. The company, a full-service provider of AM solutions, skills training equipment and software for advanced manufacturing, industrial maintenance and engineering segments, is also a Stratasys Platinum reseller (in the top 30) and is partnered with Desktop Metal and metal AM specialist Renishaw.
Earlier this year, the company also entered into distribution agreements with Prototyping Solutions / Technical Training Aids (in the Southeast) and TekPro Group (in the Southwest). The company offers a range of post-processing equipment, including support removal tools, surface finish machines and process water management equipment.
