NY-based PostProcess Technologies Inc. (PPT) is expanding its product offering to the European market with the opening of its first international office in the south of France. The company is the leading provider of post processing solutions for 3D printed parts. Its technology includes intelligent support removal and surface finishing tools.

Up until today, PPT’s post-processing equipment has been available exclusively within North America, where it provides solutions to companies such as industrial manufacturing company Ingersoll Rand, and works with its growing network of distributors to supply its smart post-processing solutions.

The additive space is rapidly growing, our customers are global leaders across every major industry, and they are eager for automated post-printing solutions in Europe as well,” commented Jeff Mize, CEO of PostProcess. “Customers value the unparalleled consistency of results they are able to achieve with our technology. It is simply not replicable or scalable without a software-driven solution. Once they achieve consistent quality results, the demand quickly spreads worldwide.”

PostProcess Europe

The first European office established by the company is located in Sophia-Antipolis, a technology park near Nice, France. Along with the expansion, the company is launching a global division, PostProcess Technologies International, which will be led by Bruno Bourguet, a global executive with experience in tech solution enterprises. Prior to his appointment at PPT International, Bourguet was the global head of sales for digital map company HERE.

“While we have an immediate solution to automate post-printing for support removal and surface finish, the real power of the PostProcess technology is its capability to enable digital manufacturing in a factory 4.0 environment,” Bourguet stated. “There is high interest from companies in Europe in our solutions and the role that automated post-printing plays in unleashing the power of 3D printing.”

Indeed, with a 3D printing market as powerful as Europe’s, it was only a matter of time before PPT expanded its business. Now, European customers will be able to leverage the company’s automated support removal and part finishing systems and further increase the automation of the entire additive manufacturing workflow.

“Our solutions are used across all 3D printer technologies for both high-volume custom part production or one-off prototypes,” concluded Bourguet. PostProcess will be attending the upcoming Formnext 2018 exhibition, where it will debut its post-processing technology for the European market.
