Photocentric partners with Danish dental innovators 3Shape

The LC Magna, a large LED stereolithography 3D printer from Photocentric, has been integrated with 3Shape’s Clear Aligner Enterprise software solution. Developed specifically for designing clear aligners, 3Shape’s software provides a flexible and scalable option for a digital production process.

Speaking about the partnership, Lea Williams, Photocentric’s Head of Sales 3D stated: “With its intuitive workflow and quick turnaround time, 3Shape’s solution is the ideal partner for our LC Magna printer”. Lea went on to add that with “its ability to produce accurate dental models rapidly and in high volume, the LC Magna is often chosen from innovative dental laboratories around the world. The addition of 3Shape integration helps to strengthen this position, providing the solution for those wishing to enhance their existing digital dentistry, or those looking to implement a digital production process for the first time”.

The LC Magna from Photocentric is one of the largest LCD printers in the world and is ideally suited for a variety of dental model applications. The Magna can print 48 dental models per platform in a little over 60 minutes. As well as designing and manufacturing the LC Magna, Photocentric offers a range of dedicated dental resins.
