ColorFabb introduces PA Neat, its first pure nylon filament
New material for functional parts ships on October 1st
Dutch 3D printing filament manufacturer colorFabb is introducing PA Neat, its first pure-nylon filament. PA Neat is a unique polyamide (nylon) formulation which has been specifically designed for functional 3D printing. It is based on a new, unfilled and heat-resistant polyamide grade which promises low warp printing.
As colorFabb’s answer to growing demand for functional 3D printing filaments, PA Neat has an HDT of 145°C and is very tough, making it an ideal material for the professional users and durable prints. Whereas other PA grades in the market tend to warp quite a bit, warping is brought back to the absolute minimum.
“We still see a lot of PLA coming into the market and feel a saturation point has been reached already,” said Ruud Rouleaux, CEO and founder of colorFabb. “At colorFabb we only focus on added value in PLA, like with our Color on Demand service, or create only truly functional filaments that benefit the professional user like our brand new PA Neat.”
PA Neat is the second overall polyamide grade filament after the launch of PA-CF Low Warp composite filament last year. Due to the absence of carbon fibers, it is much less abrasive and thus friendlier with the nozzles found in most 3D printers. Shipping starts on October 1st and the RRP for a 750 grams spool is € 49.55 excluding VAT.
