# North Channel 3D to distribute UnionTech SLA and metal 3D printers in North America

[North Channel 3D, a Minnesota-based additive manufacturing commercialization company](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/north-channel-3d/), has entered into a distribution and support partnership with [UnionTech, a Chinese manufacturer of industrial stereolithography systems](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/uniontech/). Under the agreement, North Channel 3D will serve as UnionTech's primary commercialization platform across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, covering sales, applications engineering, service, materials, and spare parts.

UnionTech, founded over two decades ago, has installed tens of thousands of SLA systems across the automotive, aerospace, consumer products, medical, and tooling sectors globally, but its North American footprint has remained limited. North Channel 3D was set up specifically to address that gap.

As part of the rollout, North Channel 3D plans to establish a demonstration and applications facility in North America and develop a regional reseller network. Further details on the partner program are expected in the coming months.

The partnership also covers UnionTech's push into metal additive manufacturing. The company unveiled its MUEES430 PRO selective laser melting system to the North American market on April 14, extending its portfolio beyond polymer SLA into high-performance metal parts production.
