3dpbm can exclusively reveal that Sinterit, the market leader in benchtop SLS solutions, will be introducing a new larger and faster SLS 3D printer. The new product, known as NILS 480, is the third generation of 3D printers from the Polish manufacturer, after the LISA and LISA Pro.

The first system from Sinterit, LISA, was released in 2015 and single-handedly changed the SLS market making it more accessible than ever before. The next generation LISA Pro was released in 2018, making benchtop SLS more reliable and proficient. Now the company wants to make its technology faster and more productive.

The launch event is scheduled for September 15th (registration is open). The new product promises to be able to produce more and larger parts in one run.

The machine will leverage the wide portfolio of Sinterit materials, let users compose their own powders or adopt third-party ones. With zero powder waste, NILS promises to be extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly. NILS, like all the Sinterit SLS 3D printers, has an open parameters function, which makes it adjustable for users’ specific needs.

No other details are available at this time. 3dpbm has reached out to the company and we will update this story as more information comes in.
