New quantum entanglement 3D printing startup both exists and it doesn’t

QE3D both came out of stealth and it didn't. It both will and will not be presented at upcoming CDFAM conference

Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

Disclaimer: QE3D “came out of stealth” on April 1st, 2023, and announced it would be shutting down its operations on April 2nd. As timely reported and detailed by VoxelMatters in the article below, which is intended to be taken lightly, the entire operation appeared as a fun, coordinated effort by several influential members of the AM community (some of whom went as far as to modify their own LinkedIn CVs) to both leverage April Fools as a way to poke fun at the AM startup scene and, at the same time, promote the very real and very interesting CDFAM conference set to take place at New Lab in NYC in June.

After years of dedicated research and development, the new startup QE3D has both come out of stealth mode and did not. The company has been quietly working behind the scenes to revolutionize the world of additive manufacturing with groundbreaking quantum entanglement 3D printing technology. Currently, QE3D exists in superposition, until it will or will not be presented at the upcoming CDFAM conference at New Lab in NYC.

This cutting-edge approach enables real-time creation and modification of products, opening doors to unparalleled customization and sustainability. The dedicated team of experts, which includes Netfabb founder Alexander Oster who is (both current and former) Autodesk Director of AM, has been tirelessly pushing the boundaries of innovation, and they are now ready to share their vision with the world.

Via quantum entanglement, a phenomenon that links particles at a distance, QE3D implementers QE3DP technology, opening the doors for the next generation of 3D printing. This technology allows for the instantaneous printing of complex objects at multiple locations, thereby reducing production time and minimizing shipping costs.

Ethereum’s smart contracts enable decentralized and automated management of the manufacturing process. By integrating QE3DP with Ethereum, QE3D can establish a transparent supply chain that ensures the authenticity and reliability of the materials being used, while facilitating real-time tracking and secure transactions.

Incorporating AI into this ecosystem further optimizes the manufacturing process by analyzing user data, predicting trends, and making real-time adjustments to the production pipeline. Moreover, AI-powered design software can create intricate and personalized designs, allowing for unparalleled customization in the end products.

Quantum Entanglement 3D Printing, Ethereum, and AI together form a powerful trifecta that will revolutionize the manufacturing industry. This combination will lead to faster production and reduced shipping costs; enhanced supply chain transparency and security, tailored and intricate designs for a personalized customer experience, sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing

QE3D is now both poised and not poised to unveil its groundbreaking quantum entanglement 3D printing technology at the CDFAM symposium, set to take place at New Lab in NYC in June. At the conference, some of the biggest industry leaders, innovators, and forward-thinkers will discuss and present on discovering the cutting-edge advancements set to redefine the realms of design, production, and innovation. Seize the opportunity to witness the quantum leap in manufacturing that promises to shape the world of tomorrow.

Sounds too good to be true? This kind of thing tends to happen on April 1st.

While CDFAM certainly exists in our own reality, with many great 3D printing and design experts set to participate and speak, the QE3D page on the CDFAM website appears to exist only in a parallel dimension, not accessible from any direct link on the website. It also goes to great lengths to ensure that no one makes the decision to buy the $750 dollar ticket based solely on QE3D’s existence, stating that “the Information is provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any kind by QE3D or any of its affiliates, employees, agents, or representatives.”

The tongue-in-cheek disclaimer further says:

“QE3D is an innovative company with a focus on the research and development of cutting-edge technology. The quantum entanglement 3D printing technology discussed herein has not yet been fully proven or commercialized in the physical world, and its viability, effectiveness, and market acceptance are subject to a wide range of risks, uncertainties, and potential obstacles, including technological, regulatory, and competitive factors.

No financial decisions or commitments, including but not limited to the purchase of a ticket to the CDFAM event, should be made based solely on the Information provided on this page, the video content, or any other materials related to QE3D and its quantum entanglement 3D printing technology. Prior to making any financial decisions or commitments, you should conduct your own independent research, due diligence, and analysis, and consult with appropriate professional advisors, as necessary.

QE3D, CDFAM, along with Bits to Atoms and its affiliates, employees, agents, sponsors, employers, family, friends, neighbors, vague acquaintances, and representatives expressly disclaim any and all liability for any loss, damage, or expense that may be incurred by any person as a result of reliance on the Information, or any errors or omissions in the Information, whether direct or indirect, and whether foreseeable or unforeseeable.

The Information is provided “as is” and without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

QE3D and its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives cannot guarantee that, should the quantum entanglement 3D printing technology function as intended or described, they will bear any responsibility for the consequences or outcomes arising from the use or application of such technology in this or any other space-time dimension, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.”
