3dpbm website launches to unite global AM industry communication activities

Stay up to date with everything that is happening in the wonderful world of AM via our LinkedIn community.

3D Printing Business Media, the media company that publishes www.3dprintingmedia.network and www.3dprintingbusiness.directory global AM industry portals, has a new name, 3dpbm, a new logo and a new online home at www.3dpbm.com.

3dpbm is a lot more than a media company and a lot more than a publisher. “Our goal has always been to favor the evolution and growth of the additive manufacturing industry and we are going to do this now more than ever,” said 3dpbm.’s Co-founder and CEO Davide Sher. “With over 4,200 companies listed in our Directory, we can say that we know this industry not just professionally but also – in many cases – personally.”

“Our company was founded with a simple vision: get people excited about additive manufacturing,” added Federico Sher, 3dpbm’s co-founder and COO. “AM represents an exciting future well beyond the industry. It has the potential to change the world as we know it. No doubt it’s exciting, but the pace of innovation in the AM industry can be overwhelming. And it can be difficult to keep track of every development, let alone make sense of the big picture. Well, that’s what we do: make sense of the big picture.”

3dpbm’s online editorial portals have their finger on the pulse, following, analyzing and documenting everything that happens in the industry. The result is a specialized platform that provides high-level content and actionable insights on every major industry vertical.

The core team has also grown to now include 10 professional figures and a network of dozens of collaborators throughout the world. 3dpbm’s writers know the AM industry and its marketing experts know how to communicate it. The company leverages the latest marketing tools to communicate the most relevant trends in AM, not just to industry experts but also to newcomers.

3dpbm’s origin is in Italy, the cradle of western civilization (for better or for worse). The company’s first proprietary website, Replicatore.it (now the leading resource for industry news in the Italian market) allowed it to establish a stable presence as a reference for the local market. Italy faces lots of political challenges but its industrial structure is solid and is embracing AM at breakneck speeds.

London, where 3dpbm is based, is the access point for international operations. The company leverages key partners for exclusive AM data and is constantly expanding into new markets. 3dpbm also partners with 3druck.de in Germany and Primante3D in France. It built Replicador.es to address the Spanish speaking markets and we will be moving on to China, Japan, Arabic speaking countries, Israel and more.
