# Nanoscribe reaches 400 systems sold as industrial demand grows

In its eighteenth year of operation, the nano-3D printing market leader [Nanoscribe](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/nanoscribe/) has surpassed 400 systems sold and is reporting a significant increase in industrial demand for its Quantum X series. [The company, part of the Lab14 Group](https://www.voxelmatters.com/bico-completes-divestment-of-nanoscribe-to-lab14-gmbh/), expects strong financial results for 2025 and continues to consolidate its role as a provider of high-precision production solutions, evolving from a pioneer in academic research to a long-term technology partner for industry.

Founded in 2007, Nanoscribe helped define the field of high-precision 3D microfabrication as a pioneer of two-photon polymerization. Using its core technology, the company has developed unique advancements such as 2GL grayscale printing and Aligned 2-Photon Lithography, aiming to improve automation, speed, and user-friendliness.

In 2025, industrial clients accounted for roughly one-third of Nanoscribe’s system deliveries. Aligned 3D microprinting for photonics packaging applications, such as optical coupler interfaces on chips, fibers, fiber arrays, and wafers, serves as the primary growth driver. Nanoscribe’s Quantum X systems can create high-quality optical surfaces with precise alignment of just 100 nanometers, enabling the manufacture of efficient optical connections and beam-shaping components.

This shift toward industrial production is supported by an expanded product portfolio that now goes beyond stand-alone systems to include full process-line solutions tailored for integration, standardization, and high-throughput manufacturing environments.
