Nanoe launches Zetamix H13 filament

Nanoe launched a new filament for its Zetamix line: Zetamix H13. The Zetamix line already includes zirconia, alumina and stainless steel filaments and is compatible with most standard filament extrusion 3D printers.

H13 is a high-temperature resistant steel: It can resist to extreme temperatures without losing its high strength. This steel alloy is commonly used for hot or cold work tooling applications, enabling the production of a wide variety of tools such as extrusion dies or injection molds. Moreover, this material has a high level of ductility, thermal and electrical conductivity and resistance to corrosion. It is intended for use by SMEs, international groups as well as laboratories and research centers.

With the launch of this new filament, Nanoe intends to make H13 3D printing accessible to any company. H13 Zetamix filament is compatible with any FFF 3D printer and only requires a one-step thermal post-process in a tubular furnace to achieve a density of more than 90%.

Combined with Zetamix technology, H13 steel will enable the production of on-demand tools or complex steel parts that would be impossible to obtain using subtractive processes, especially at this price point: The new filament is available to any company already equipped with 3D printers and furnaces but Nanoe also provides a kit that includes a printer and a tubular furnace for less than 10,000 euros.

Founded by 3 engineers in 2008, Nanoe is a French company specialized in the elaboration and production of highly innovative materials. With their knowledge and know-how in the ceramics field, they launched in 2018 a new brand, Zetamix: the first ceramic and metal filaments accessible to all.
