# Multistation takes on exclusive distribution of Kangshuo’s binder jet 3D sand printers

[Multistation, a French additive manufacturing specialist,](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/multistation/) has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with [Kangshuo Group (KS-JT)](https://www.voxelmatters.directory/company/kangshuo-group/), a Chinese manufacturer of industrial binder jet 3D sand printers. Founded in 2010, Kangshuo Group specializes in high-volume casting operations for the aerospace, maritime, energy, transportation, and agricultural sectors. The company reports an annual foundry output capacity of 300,000 tons, supported by three production sites totaling 200,000 square meters in Shanxi, Chongqing, and Jiangxi, with headquarters in Beijing and international sales operations based in Shanghai.

Kangshuo’s flagship system, the KSS 1800 B, is a second-generation 3D sand printer featuring a build volume of 1800 × 1000 × 700 mm, a bi-directional sand recoating system, and Siemens control components. The company claims the system offers twice the productivity of comparable machines at a lower capital investment.

“This partnership with Multistation marks one of our major steps in our European expansion,” said Mr. Duan, President of Kangshuo Group, and Mr. Li, Head of Overseas Business at Kangshuo Group. “Multistation’s expertise and deep understanding of the European market will help us support foundries seeking greater productivity and energy efficiency.”

Multistation President Yannick Loisance said the deal responds to long-standing frustrations among foundries over cost and reliability in the binder jet segment. “KS-JT combines industrial experience and technical mastery, offering a reliable and affordable alternative to this niche market,” he said.
