Prototyping Solutions, a 3D printing technologies reseller and services provider, and Meltio, a wire-laser metal deposition technology 3D printing manufacturer, have entered a partnership that will see Prototyping Solutions distribute Meltio’s products to the North American market.

Through this partnership, Prototyping Solutions will integrate Meltio’s advanced laser metal deposition technology into its portfolio. The technology enables the creation of near-net-shape metal components directly from CAD data – significantly reducing production times and costs while enhancing design flexibility and material efficiency.

“Partnering with Meltio marks a significant milestone in our mission to deliver the most advanced 3D printing solutions to our customers,” said Eddie Hanebuth, Business Development Manager at Prototyping Solutions. “Meltio’s innovative technology complements our existing offerings and empowers our clients to push the boundaries of what’s possible in additive manufacturing.”

Meltio’s technology is capable of processing a wide range of metals, from stainless steel to titanium. This versatility, combined with Prototyping Solutions’ expertise in 3D printing services, is expected to deliver value to industries such as aerospace, automotive, education, and more.

“We are thrilled to be working with companies like Prototyping Solutions as their expertise as well as customer-centric approach are exactly what we are looking for when incorporating partners in the Meltio partner ecosystem in North America. Together, we will be able to cater to the ever-growing needs and ease the adoption of metal additive manufacturing,” stated Meltio.

“Prototyping Solutions’ strong market presence and commitment to quality make them an ideal partner for us and together, we are set to redefine the standards of metal 3D printing and help businesses harness the full potential of additive manufacturing”, said Michael Humphrey, North American Sales Manager at Meltio.

Prototyping Solutions will provide comprehensive support and services around Meltio’s technology, including sales, technical support, and post-sales services.
