Lithoz opens Lithoz China subsidiary in Shanghai

Lithoz is further consolidating its global presence with the foundation of Lithoz China in Shanghai. As a key strategic market in the manufacturing world, the establishment of a Lithoz base in Asia is a big step forward for the company, allowing them to better support customers globally.

The Austrian company is directly supporting its customers in China in order to push for the development and
improvement of products and services, with their upcoming participation in TCT Shanghai in May 2021 being a great opportunity for them to engage with companies there. Lithoz China will be led by EOS China, who already have extensive experience in the 3D printing market and who have been operating successfully in the Chinese market since 2013, it is known for their excellent customer support, with its large team of experts allowing them to offer quality services for advice and equipment maintenance.

Lithoz China will be headed by Hongyi Yang, who works at EOS China as the ecosystem sales manager, speaking about his new position as ‘the pioneer of Lithoz China’, Yang said, “it is a challenging but appealing job. Ceramic 3D printing is a fascinating technology that already shows great potential to revolutionize conventional ceramic processing methods. By benefitting from the very dynamic developing manufacturing industries in China, Lithoz is strengthening their commitment to customers and ensuring bigger growth in the coming years”.

According to Wohlers’ annual report, ceramic 3D printing is the fastest-growing segment in the very dynamic 3D printing world. Dr. Johannes Homa, CEO, and co-founder of Lithoz, spoke of the importance of this new step forward for the company, stating that ‘we strongly believe in the Chinese market to offer great new opportunities for growth when it comes to ceramic 3D printing. Together with our existing distributors and our new partner in EOS China, Lithoz is determined to push this technology forward. “Their cooperation with key innovators in China and the establishment of a local presence will enable the company to ‘support and tailor their solutions to specific customer needs and overall better serve their customers”.
