Listemann to acquire new Xerion AM production line
Berlin-based equipment manufacturer Xerion and Listemann Technology, a Liechtenstein-based provider of industrial services in the field of material optimization and processing, have agreed to cooperate in order to further develop bound metal, sinter-based additive manufacturing of metallic components. As per the agreement, Listemann is going to acquire a Xerion AM production line.
As a market leader for future-proof material solutions, Listemann, under the “Perfecting Materials” label, provides technologies and processes that enable customers to extend the insertion limits of existing materials and exploit the performance capabilities of new materials.
XERION’s newly developed series of systems for solvent debinding of additively manufactured components allows a fully automated process including monitoring of all relevant parameters. A special feature is that there is no explosion protection zone outside the machine and therefore no special measures have to be taken at the installation site.
The XVAC series sintering furnace can be used to treat components in both high vacuum and inert gas atmospheres, including 100% hydrogen. The design with a movable table is used for ergonomic loading and unloading of the plant.
Listemann Technology AG is thus able to process small and medium series of additively manufactured components in high quality.
