JUNO Design Video Shows Use of 3D Technologies to Make Motorcycle Parts for Top Italian Brands

JUNO Design, one of the most experienced rapid prototyping studios in Italian automotive sector and beyond, just released a spectacular video showing exactly how they use all 3D technologies (including 3D scanning, 3D modeling and 3D printing) in order to turn ideas into original products ready for serial production.

Set in Borgo Panigale, near Bologna, Italy, in the heart of the Italian “Motor Valley” and in particular the home to top motorcycle brand Ducati, JUNO is made of open-minded professionals with an expanded view of reality, able to tackle any project and improve the production chain workflow.

Spin-off of Studio Pedrini – a mechanical design company, it has worked with top motorcycle brands in Italy building over thirty years of experience and unique expertise within staff of over 20 engineers and experts. The company works a lot with some of the top motorcycle brand in the nearbyregion however much of its revenues also come from other segments of manufacturing.

These include work for the packaging industry in the tobacco, sweets and pharmaceutical sectors – whichrepreents as much as 50% of the company’s revenues. Other activities involving 3D printing include development and production of controllers, domotics devices and several other small size plastic products

JUNO, as well as being authorized reseller of desktop 3D printers by MakerBot Industries, has in-house access to some of the most advanced rapid prototyping and reverse Engineering technologies.
